Bronwyn Eley

Bronwyn Eley has been doing two things since childhood: writing and fighting. She looks for opportunities to incorporate her martial arts experience into her stories, and writing fantasy gives her the perfect chance to test out what actually works!

Before being published, Bronwyn was in the Royal Australian Air Force, studied Linguistics at university, and now works in marketing, content and social media across various industries, including the book and publishing industry which is where she got the insane notion of becoming a published author.

Her first series, The Relic Trilogy, came out between 2019-21, and her latest novel, The Rule (Pantera Press) was published in early 2025, and the second in this duology, The Oath (Pantera Press) will be released in 2026.

Originally from Sydney, Bronwyn now lives in Edinburgh and confirms she does like haggis. While she misses Australia, living in Scotland allows her access to a wider part of the world. Travel continues to inspire her writing, and some of her favourite places so far have been Mongolia, Morocco, Matera in Italy (look it up), Iceland and the Scottish Highlands.

When she’s not writing, reading or out travelling and snapping photos, she’s usually found practicing her martial arts – which she started at the tender age of eight thanks to Sandra Bullock’s iconic role as Gracie Lou Freebush (IYKYK).
